This 12-day Uganda safari explores the country’s top wildlife and primate destinations including Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Lake Bunyonyi, and Lake Mburo National Park.
The journey includes rhino tracking at Ziwa, game drives in savannah parks, boat cruises on the Nile and Kazinga Channel, chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest, and gorilla trekking in Bwindi. The safari ends with scenic travel back to Entebbe after exploring Uganda’s most iconic landscapes.

Begin the long drive from Murchison Falls, traveling through Uganda’s countryside, passing traditional villages, farmlands, and changing landscapes as you head towards the rainforest region of Kibale.
Stop along the journey for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing the drive towards Kibale Forest.
Arrive in the Kibale Forest area, known for its high concentration of primates, and proceed to your lodge located near crater lakes and forest surroundings.
Spend the evening relaxing at the lodge, enjoying the peaceful environment of the crater lake region before dinner and overnight stay.
Chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest followed by a guided walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for birds and primates.
Early breakfast is served before heading to the park headquarters for briefing and preparation for chimpanzee trekking.
Enter Kibale Forest with experienced rangers in search of habituated chimpanzee families, observing their natural behavior including feeding, grooming, and movement through the forest canopy.
Return to the lodge after trekking for lunch and rest.
Participate in a guided community walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to diverse bird species, monkeys, and rich swamp ecosystem biodiversity.

Go on a late afternoon game drive in search of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, and other wildlife before returning to the lodge.
Morning game drive across Kasenyi plains followed by an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel with high concentrations of wildlife.

Early morning briefing followed by gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, one of the most iconic wildlife encounters in Africa.
Breakfast is taken early at the lodge before transferring to the park headquarters for briefing and preparation for gorilla trekking.
Enter Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with experienced rangers and trackers to locate a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once located, spend a guided hour observing their behavior, movements, and interactions in their natural forest habitat.
Lunch is taken either as a packed meal in the forest or upon return to the lodge after the trekking experience
After the gorilla trekking experience, drive towards Lake Bunyonyi, passing through scenic terraced hills and rural countryside landscapes.

Arrive in Lake Mburo National Park and enjoy an introductory game drive in search of zebras, impalas, buffaloes, elands, and other wildlife species.
Arrive at Rwakobo Rock Lodge, check in, and relax in a peaceful wilderness setting.
Morning walking safari followed by optional game drive and relaxation in Lake Mburo National Park.
