Mathare is one of Nairobi's largest and oldest informal settlements, located approximately 5 kilometres from Nairobi's Central Business District. Despite the social and economic challenges faced by many residents, Mathare is home to vibrant churches, community ministries, schools, children's homes, youth organizations, and local leaders dedicated to transforming lives through faith and service.
